I sell mostly vintage acoustic guitars from the 70's to 90's from established makers like as Epiphone, Sigma, Washburn, Blueridge, and Yahama. Most of these guitars have been rescued from pawn dealers, storage units, and ebay. I then transform these old guitars by restoring them to their former glory. Given the age of these instruments, there are some inevitable cosmetic defects, and such imperfections will be reflected in the listing pictures and the price.

These guitars all get a clinical "bath". I remove the strings and the tuners, along with the nut and saddle, and polish the guitars. During this phase I repair and note any cosmetic and harmonic flaws and repair these. I replace the saddle and nut with bone (usually), and put light gauge strings on. Repairing cosmetic imperfections while still maintaining an affordable price is the greatest challenge. They all are playable.
